Our Rectangle Flags are printed on our high quality SignWeave™ polyester fabric. Our single sided Rectangle Flags use a 120gsm SignWeave™ material. Our double sided Rectangle Flags are printed onto a special 145gsm Blockout SignWeave™ material and sewn back to back.

The printed canopy and walls of our gazebos are printed using the dye sublimation process which provides high quality print and vibrant colours. When used internally (i.e. out of the sun and weather) this printed fabrics will last indefinitely. When used outdoors the dye sublimated fabrics will fade over time - and the amount of fading will depend on the amount of UV they are exposed to. As an indication we would expect the Gazebo fabric to last 6 - 12 months before fading, if being used outdoors continually. However Gazebos are generally used outdoors for one or two day events so will last for a very long time. The actual lifespan for the printed fabrics will depend on how long they are used outdoors and the conditions they are exposed to. It should be noted that polyester fabric Gazebo canopies and walls supplied by other suppliers in Kenya will last for a similar amount of time as they are usually printed using the same dye sublimation process.

The sleeve is the pocket that that pole slides into and it created using a strong fabric. We can use either black or white material for this part. Most people try to match it with the artwork, if the background is white they would select a white sleeve and vice versa. If your flag isn’t white or black it comes down to personal preference.

The artwork is printed on one side of the flag so you see the correct image and colour on that side. The other side of the flag will display the mirror image of the artwork and the colour will have less vibrancy (as the printed image has bled through from the other side of the flag). We print them on our SignWeave™ Block Out Polyester Material and sew them together (back to back) to get a high quality satin printed finish that can be read correctly from both sides.

We recommend that you use a steamer to remove any creases from the polyester fabric. It is also possible to use a warm iron but important that you use an ironing cloth so that the iron does not contact the fabric.

The Cross Base & Water Bag is finished with chrome plating and has 4 legs that fold out and back together so, when it is folded up it is very compact. When used with a filled 10 kg Water Bag, it provides good stability for our flags. The new Premium Cross Base has 2 x 50mm wide black powdercoated steel plates that are in an “X” shape and are then folded back together for transportation. The base is 825mm wide so provides great stability on hard surfaces. The 2 plates also have 10mm holes in each end, so you can attach 4 tent pegs through the holes to provide excellent stability on non-solid surfaces. The powdercoated finish provides this base with greater longevity when exposed to the elements.

Depending on the size of your flag, you will have a choice of up to 3 Heavy Duty Square Bases - 5 kg, 7 kg and 10kg. The lighter bases are not as stable; however, are more economical as well as easier to handle and ship. For our Medium, Large and Jumbo flags you will not have all options available as a smaller base on these flags creates a higher risk of tipping. When assembling your flag we recommend to be mindful of its surroundings. To help minimise any damage it is best to make sure that your flag is placed in a way so that it is clear of buildings, bushes, sharp topped fences and other objects both when it is still and when it moves in the wind. This will help to avoid wear and tear and elongate the lifespan of your flag.

You are able to add an optional carry bag to your order for easy transportation and storage of your pole set. Simply select “I would love one” from the Carry Bag dropdown when getting a quote and placing your order.

Yes, our price includes the set up cost for 1 design only. If you have multiple designs for the same size you will still get the lower bulk price, however there is a small multiple artwork charge applied for each additional design to cover our extra set up costs. Simply enter the total number of signs required and then the total number of designs into the pricing calculator above - and it will work out an accurate price for you.
